Meet Royce Adams

A widely-respected member of Kentucky’s House of Representatives, Royce is one of us--a farmer and small business owner with a lifelong history of selfless public service to our community.

Royce is Vice Chairman of the Agriculture & Small Business Committee, Chairman of the Budget Subcommittee for General Government, and serves on the influential Appropriations and Revenue Committee.

Royce was born in Grant County, and graduated from Grant County High School. He has been married for 49 years to Rita, and is the proud parent of two children, Carmen Hickerson and Melinda Lloyd, and three grandchildren: Noah, Taylor, and Benjamin.

Royce served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army in the early 1960s.

Royce is a successful small businessman has owned and operated Adams Oil, located in Dry Ridge for 43 years. He has served as President of the Grant County Fair Board for 18 years.

  • Served on Kentucky Horse Park Board for 2 terms
